Rampy is in waitlist. This page explains what we collect when you join, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- If you used our earlier app analysis: the app or website link you entered, the public details we read from its listing or homepage, the profile we drafted with any edits, and your answers to the short questions.
- Your answers to the optional questions after you join (what's hardest about marketing your app, where you want to post, which AI you use, whether you've shipped an app, and anything you write in your own words), if you choose to answer. If you're a builder, also any links, GitHub username or social handle you share, used only to check you're building something and to prioritise beta invites. If you say you'd partner with us as a creator, the accounts, follower and view ranges and notes you share, used only to contact you about a partnership.
- Referral details: the referral link you joined with, and how many people joined with yours.
- Your IP address, used only to limit abuse (rate limits and fake referrals).
We don't use advertising trackers or session recording, we don't sell or share your data for advertising, and we don't load fonts or images from third parties in your browser.
Cookies and browser storage
- We don't set cookies for visitors.
- Your browser keeps two small first-party notes on your device, never sent to anyone else: whether you've seen the intro animation (cleared when you close the tab), and, if you arrived through a friend's referral link, their referral code so it counts when you join. When you join from the homepage, your place in line is passed to the next page and cleared straight away. If you open a link that previews a time-of-day look, that choice is remembered until you close the tab.
- We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and only gives us totals: pages viewed, the site you came from, your country, and your device and browser type. It can't identify you, and referral codes are removed before anything is counted.
- On the join step, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you're human. It may process your IP address and browser details for that purpose only.
Why
- To hold your place in line and contact you when it's your turn.
- To set up your workspace with your saved profile when you're let in.
- To keep the waitlist fair and protect the site from bots and abuse.
Who processes it
We use a small number of providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot check), and, when enabled, Anthropic (to draft app profiles from public listing text). App details are read from Apple's and Google's public store pages.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist entry until Rampy launches for you or you ask us to delete it. App analyses that aren't linked to a sign-up are not used after 7 days. Rate-limit records expire automatically.
Children
Rampy is for app makers and isn't directed to children. You must be at least 13 to join (16 in the EU and UK). If we learn we've collected information from someone younger, we delete it.
Do Not Track
We don't track visitors across sites, so we treat every visit the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and email people on the waitlist about any significant change.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or leave the waitlist, at any time. Contact us at the contact address listed here (coming before launch).
